CRAZY Weather

This is some CRAZY weather. Now that I've wrapped my mind around the fact we probably aren't getting snow this year and I'm READY for Spring, there's an 80% Chance for snow on Sunday!! It's going to be 70 today!! I hate to get excited because it never happens. I love snow and I KNOW Hunter would love to sit by the window on our couch in the Living Room and watch for it. He does that when it's in the forecast. He looks So sad...
I'm ready to go camping. I'm ready for some photo shoots at the park with my kids. Some shots of the new blooms, the colorful flowers. Some of the kids just in play at the park, playing in the grass, looking at all that God has created. I'm ready for that fresh Spring smell. But I guess we'll see what Nature holds.

Have a great weekend. It's been a LONG week and I'm THRILLED it's the weekend. God Bless!

True Love

We visited our Granny and our Aunt Ellen Sunday. What a nice visit we had!! Hunter is reading like CRAZY! He's on fire for books so we bought him a new one at Sam's the other day, after he sat in the floor, opened it up and just started reading it. How PROUD we are of him. He wanted to read a story to Ellen and she sat beside him to listen to every word. They looked so cute and had a great time together. Then, she read one of the stories to him. Hannah layed in the floor and played quietly as she watched them. Granny got to hold her with the Boppy pillow and they just kept looking at each other. She's getting really big and what a chunky girl!! I know she was thinking about Pa Pa. He loved to get big hugs from Hunter and see Baby Hannah. It still seems unreal that he's gone but they seem to be doing well.

It has been SO busy lately. I can't believe it's been so long since I've blogged but I just haven't had the time. We've had stuff to do around the house. We've been cleaning out everywhere and getting rid of stuff. We really want to get some things done during this New Year. I have a crop this Saturday at my Church I'm looking forward to. It will be nice to get some pages done that I just haven't had the time to work on lately. Have a great day. I'm off to get ready for work...Is it Friday yet??

They ~LOVE~ Their Hats!

The kids LOVE their hats that we gave them for Valentines Day! She's following in her brother's footsteps...I guess she's seen Hunter wear SO many hats in her short lifetime! He always has hats on...he tells us all the time it's silly hat day. We LOVE his imagination. He knows he can be anything he wants, if he just believes...

Hannah looks like she's in the Red Hat Society...only pink instead of red:)

What a sweet smile!

Prissy Girl!"Look at my hat, Mom. Take a picture"
Hannah kept playing with hers and it fell one time. They loved them so much, they wore them while we visited our grandparents. They loved them too! We had a wonderful Valentines day!
Have a great Sunday!

Valentines Day Pictures

These pictures were taken at Sears Portrait Studio last night for Hannah's FIRST Valentines Day. I only got these three, as these are for my Portrait album. She'll probably get her pictures taken again next month, since she'll be nine months old. This one is my favorite!

This was the special they had going on. I got two collages for $9.99.

And I usually get the proof sheet so you can see lots of her different poses. She LOVED the rose!

OK, hope everyone has a wonderful Valentines Day weekend. I think we're going out for an early lunch tomorrow. Just a little time together and then, home to have some fun with the kids. Sunday, Hunter is having a Valentines day party at Church and then, we're going bowling with the family a little later. Tonite, we're watching "Annie". It's one my favorite movies and Hunter has never seen it. Happy Friday!!

Children Of God

My Hannah was eight months old this past Sunday. Here, she's showing off her new Valentines Day Dress. She couldn't stay still long enough to show off Mickey and Minnie so I took a separate picture of them. She's such a happy child. She loves to smile. I guess she watches her brother because he's the same way. He's got the same smile.Hunter is showing off his new vest; he loves to pose.
The face I LOVE.

I know I post pictures all the time of my kids. They are my life, my Children of God. They are my world. My husband and I have been so blessed to have such a wonderful family . We try to not miss one day without saying, "Thank you, Lord". Thank you for bringing this wonderful husband in my life and allowing us to have such beautiful children. They fill our life with so much joy it seems I could bust at the seam sometimes.

Tonite, I watched the Caylee Anthony Memorial and I cried. I cried, I cried some more and then I cried again. As I watched the video, "Gone too soon", I hurt. I hurt for the family of that poor little girl. She didn't ask to be born in the world and she was loved by so many. Just watching the pictures of her innocence and her beauty, it really hurt to see that she is gone, too soon. I can't imagine what I would do in that situation. I think I would go crazy. I think I would, literally, go insane. I can't fathom how anyone could hurt a child. There are SO many people in this world who would love to have a child and can't. I can't stand knowing that there are people in this world who can take the life of a child and not think twice about it.

My kids are my world. I can hardly wait to see them when I walk in the front door everyday. I'm in love. I love them good, bad, in time out, and excited.

I'm so blessed to have my children and my husband. I know that, in this day and time, nothing is forever. We have no ideas what tomorrow holds so now is the time to tell them you love them. Now is the time to spend with them.

Please continue to pray for the Anthony family. They will need our thoughts and prayers while they mourn the loss of Caylee. God bless you all!

One More Basket Of Flowers

I just wanted to post the OTHER basket of flowers that our Aunt made for my parents in memory of my grandmother. They are beautiful! Ellen and Granny LOVE fresh flowers and I do too. It makes you happy to see them. That's one of the many reasons why I love Gardening. I love to see the flowers grow. I like to see where they started and what they come to be. Just some of God's awesome work. Ellen always makes works of art with arranging flowers too. I just hope she realizes how much they mean to us, how much joy they would have given my grandmother and how much joy they have given us. Even writing this, it brings tears to my eyes. Thanks so much, Ellen for being so thoughtful and caring in everything you do. We love you so much!!

In Memory Of Katie Puckette

This beautiful basket of flowers is from our Aunt Ellen and Our Granny. It was made for us in memory of my grandmother, who passed away recently. They are so pretty and I know they would make my Nanny so happy.

It really made me smile. It brightened my living room, and I was truly touched that I was thought of. Our Aunt and our Granny are very special people and they mean the world to us!!

A Day At The Park

Mike had to work on Saturday and the only place Hunter, Hannah and I had to go was
Wal-Mart to pick up a birthday present for a friend. We came home and got a little rest before Dad got home. It was So pretty we decided to take the stroller and Hunter's bike to the park. Hunter didn't have any interest in his bike, though. He wanted to play. He must be going through a little stage where he is just afraid of riding his bike, even with the training wheels. He had a blast at the playground and he got to run off some of that energy.

Hold On Tight

Hunter's turn to push...Be Careful!

SO, he's afraid to ride his bike but he'll climb to the top of this wall??

He made it!
"Take my picture, Mom"Father and Son
He climbed to the top again
My Lil' Girl had fun watching Big Brother
Then, she remembered her thumb Last Ride
OK, headed to get ready for Church. Then, home to get some rest before our Birthday Party. Hunter is going to a Birthday Party at the Ice Skating Rink. This is a first for him so he's super excited!! His friend, Brissa, from Church will be 8!! I'm pretty tired since I'm getting over a pretty nasty Sinus Infection.
Take care, have a great Sunday. God Bless!

Scrap Happy

These are the pages I was able to finish at the crop last Saturday. I have a Portrait album that holds all of the professional portraits. This usually includes birthday, Easter bunny, Halloween and Santa pictures. I'm almost caught up on this book and hope to finish it this weekend. Most of the paper is from one of my many paper stacks. I'm addicted to Paper! All letters and shapes cut from my Cricut.

Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge for both of these pages

Swirls and stars are cut from Home Decor ...I just discovered this one and it is one awesome cart! Lots of gorgeous flair!

(Each page individually, and then the layout together) I love this but wonder if I may need a little something else to make it pop..

I need to add a journal box to this page but didn't have one with me. It was my grandparent's 60Th Wedding Anniversary!

"Memories" cut from Home Decor and letters below cut from Keystone.
Train cut from New Arrival. (I think)
This one needs something. I'll fix this weekend.
I haven't had time to up these a bit but I'm so glad I got them DONE. My nose is running and I feel terrible. I'm headed to bed so I can go to work tomorrow. Saturday, planning to stay home all day!! A little cleaning in the morning, working in my scrap area in the evening....Hooray!
Have a great weekend!

A PROUD Mommy Moment

Real quick stop in today. Just wanted to share how proud I am of my baby boy, Hunter. He got another wonderful report card on Wednesday. He's reading so well, always eager to learn new words, and recognizes new ones every day. He's a good Citizen and is making good choices.
We're SO proud of him. Mike brought me a milkshake to work since I had a terrible sore throat and after picking Hunter up and seeing his report card, he went by and got him one too.

Today, Hunter is going on a field trip to The Children's Museum, and Grandma is a Chaperon. He's excited!

I'm headed out to get ready for work. Not feeling well at all. I have a very sore throat, cold and cough. I took some Prescription Cough Medicine last night that helped me sleep. I was out like a light!!

Have a good Thursday. SO glad the weekend is almost here. Looking forward to a Saturday at home. God Bless!

Winter Babies

It occurred to me that we get so busy with life, I haven't been taking as many pictures. Sometimes, those simple, day to day, just life pictures are the best shots to capture. SO, after going out to Dinner and arriving home, I pulled out my camera and asked the kids to pose. They did OK, I was pleased!!

Hannah's Valentine Sweater
She's finally looking..sorta
